We had to pay the ragamuffins overtime (as well as compensate them for that incident with Memeshame) but finally the results are in and we are delighted to present the Meme Offenders of the Month, July 2006. It was a very close-run thing and the Top 2 were separated only by a few hundred votes each. There was one vote for and one vote against the pony fight, neutralising it. Other nominees were ignored by the voting public and so we have a Top Two rather than a Top Five this time. The winners are:

1. Rich Legg for 'Common'
Mr Gnet inexcusably posted a photo of his young daughter for the Photo Friday theme 'common'. This left us and our voting public stunned and horrified and requires no further comment. The votes were fairly bulging out of our mailbox.

2. Rich Legg for 'Electric'
It was noticed by us and one of his commenters that his barbed wire fence was not in fact electric. The fact that it conducts electricity means that Mr Gnet could have instead posted water, trees, a Faraday cage, or a small child, much as he did for the theme 'common'.

We thank you all for your participation and invite you to send us your nominations for August. A short list will be drawn up and posted here as soon as we can muster the energy.

Dear excitable j: You weren't nominated for July. You are in August. You voted incorrectly. We hope you are more careful at the ballot box of whatever civil subdivision you happen to live in, lest you accidentally vote yourself in as dog catcher.

And we have a sneaking suspicion you will do much better than your alleged 'Third' next month.

Watching you always,

Your noisy upstairs neighbors,

There are now two more sites for you to have a look at:

http://www.tuesdaychallenge.co.uk/

http://www.photosharks.com/

I just hope that my image entries meet your strict requirements!

My biggest pet hates (besides not meeting the theme stipulated) are:

1. Adverts posted as an entry. Are we that fucking stupid? The fact I am not and they think I am irks me even more

2. The person who posts more than one entry to a theme that states one link maximum. Oh and both images are still shit!

3. People who submit 'snaps' of anything and everything (friends, (blurred or under-exposed) pets, children with sick/food all over them). Give it some thought, then, give it some more thought and then enter the fucking image you dumb ass....

Blimey, I feel much better.

Dear mooch,

DO YOU KISS YOUR MUM WITH THAT MOUTH? We here at the Photo Meme Hall of Shame appreciate your enthusiasm but nonetheless checked our sitemeter to make sure you didn't live next door to any of us.

We aren't familiar with Egham UK, but we have to ask. Is there a Detention Center there perhaps? With Internet connectivity, perhaps?

Seeing how you have appear to have time on your hands (Possibly 15 to 20 with time off for good behaviors) we want you to know that you may feel free to send us nominations of people who put you into a murderous rage. That is why we are here. To prevent actual bar room shootings.

In re: the above sentiments, we couldn't agree with you more. Although we try to stick to the Queen's English. Arse, shite, you know.

We are glad you feel better. Now put down the soap and the shiv.

Your noisy upstairs neighbors (in cell block B),

Memes Monitor and Shame, Esq.
