A Postcard from our Hols!

This forwarded to us as it was tied to a rock and thrown through our windows and retied with twine and boxed and sent my Arvin to our summer home in Mumbai

"Look, I understand that English isn't the first language of many of the meme participants, but seriously, use a dictionary.

Here is Dictionary.com's definition of a condiment:"something used to give a special flavor to food, as mustard, ketchup, salt, or spices."

Here is the American Heritage dictionary's definition of a condiment:"A substance, such as a relish, vinegar, or spice, used to flavor or complement food."

Maybe some translation services inaccurately define a condiment as "food."

Maybe there's some obscure Brittanic definition of "condiment" that I'm not aware of.

But unless you're sprinkling coffee grounds on your food... or maybe putting cookies on your frankfurters... or best of all, flavoring your food with A WALL... I'm not getting it.

End rant."

We used to tease young Carlo Ferroni for getting all hot and bothered about people posting non-macros at Macroday, not because it was wrong, but because it was OUR job to get hot and bothered for posting inappropriately.

As we have gotten older (And by God have we gotten older) we get less fired up then we used to because (And by God BECAUSE) people are just stupid gits.

Or speak a language other than the one the photomeme rules are written in.

Macroday should be relatively straightforward but Shutterday with that wordy git Homer Laffoone is a nightmare. The downside to all this is that it explains why the most successful photomemes have one word or two themes and thus barely rise to the level of 'challenges'

Does anyone besides us NOT KNOW what's happened to Photosharks? We sorta liked it because it had that cool _/)_ fing thing or whateverit was. If anyone knows. Mail us!
